Memorandum to the Elders

Information from Walter N.

In Austria, some Jehovah's Witnesses have begun to examine the doctrine of the Watchtower Society. These former Austrian Jehovah's Witnesses are now Witnesses of Jesus. The following memorandum was addressed to the elders of Jehovah's Witnesses.

The faithful and understanding slave (Mat. 24:45-47, 1. Cor. 4:2)

As one saw this scripture in the early days (under Russel and Rutherford), I do not want to go into it now (the whole story should be studied by everyone for themselves and a personal picture should be made of it).

What we, my wife and I, are essentially about:

How was it possible to attribute such a claim to authority as an organization to one of many parables?

Not only its interpretation but also the way it is applied does not correspond at all to the language of the Bible (as confirmed by the other parables). In any case, in time the faithful and intelligent slave was seen in the "consecrated people of God". After decades of teaching that the slave is the totality of all anointed Christians (WT March 1, 1981, p. 24). Since 2013, one teaches, the slave is not 1900 years old (not since Pentecost 33), but since 1919 when Jesus came to his temple, has been appointed.

Moreover, the parable is no longer applied to the totality of all "anointed" Christians, but only to the Governing Body, currently 7 persons (WT 2013 March).

Matthew 23:8 But you shall not be called rabbis, for one is your Master, the Christ; but you are all brethren.

Fundamentally, this interpretation legitimizes and asserts the view that God and Christ act with people only through a perfectly structured organization and that this is connected to the Watchtower Society.

Matthew 24:23 If someone will say to you: Behold, here is the Christ, or there, do not believe it.

With the parable of the faithful and intelligent slave, as with the other similar parables, no authority to teach – no position of power – no authority over the millions of other Christians is legitimized – no superordinate position – no centralism – especially since thereby each individual Christian is relieved of the responsibility to decide for himself and to develop a strong faith in the Father and the Son, and instead a faith (or one should rather say) an organizational faith is demanded without which one cannot be saved (WT 2015 March p.27 para. 7 "What does the judgement depend on?").

It should be noted that Jesus, when speaking in parables, always mentioned that it was a parable. He never left his listeners in the dark as to whether it was an actual event or perhaps even a prophetic prediction or illustration. Often he followed one parable with another in order to reaffirm the same thought.

So also in connection with Matthew 24:45-48, here he adds the parable of the 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins who contain the same facts or doctrine as the parable of the "faithful and understanding slave".

It is remarkable that the Watchtower Society actually only cites Matthew 24:45 as proof of the existence of a so-called "slave class".

Why doesn't he quote the parallel text from Luke 12:37-41?

Quite simply because these verses clearly show that we are dealing here with a classical parable and not with a prophetic prediction or announcement that there will be a "slave class" appointed by Jesus to distribute "spiritual food".

It is not about the distribution of "spiritual food" and also not about the "institution" over the alleged "earthly possession of Jesus", but about vigilance and the readiness of the individual Christian until the Second Coming of the Lord.

God's complete Word, especially the Christian Greek Scriptures, does not require any addition and represents the perfect spiritual food. Furthermore, it needs no extension, no additional interpretation and certainly no additional prophecies and above all no temporal calculations (1914, 1919, 1925, 1975, 1994).

Revelation 22:18-19 Verily I testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to these things, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away anything from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the book of life and from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Having taught since 2013 that there had been no faithful slaves in the 1st century since Pentecost 33, it is only logical to conclude that there should certainly not be a slave in the form of a class or group with this power from 1919 onwards.

In my opinion, this unjustified assertion is based on a hierarchy similar to that of established religious systems, totalitarian governments and party affiliations. Only with the difference of an outwardly humiliating "slave". This cape already shows many holes and cracks (a faith building that is breaking down more and more like a house of cards, e.g. constant change in doctrine because it was built on sand).

But because one compulsively sticks to many wrong assumptions, e.g. 1914/1919, one has to play out more and more authority and power (e.g. superimposed generation). Thus one enters into a spiral which leads far away from apostolic and Christian ideas, even into a legalistic lawful application of the Word of God like the spiritual leaders in the days of Jesus.

Paul explicitly spoke out against the superfine apostles who wanted to bind Christians to the Mosaic law.

Galatians 2:5-6 nor did we give in to them for an hour, that we might submit ourselves to them, that the truth of the gospel might remain with you. But of those who are worthy of something – what they were before is like to me; God does not respect the prestige of the person – those who are worthy of something have imposed nothing more on me;

This letter was not intended to relieve others of thinking and studying, but on the contrary to encourage them to sharpen their own thinking and draw appropriate conclusions, for everyone must be able to stand up before the Father and Son and not rely on a religious system and deny any responsibility on the grounds that he acted only in accordance with what a said organization would have instructed him to do.

Romans 14:12 So each one of us will give account to God for himself.

Too many examples in history show that in the end you cannot "clean up" yourself. "I don't blame myself personally, because I only did what others told me to do."

Galatians 1:4-12 who has given himself for our sins to save us from the present evil course of the world, according to the will of our God and Father, who deserves glory from eternity to eternity. Amen. I am amazed that you are so quickly being turned away from the one who called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel, while there is no other; only there are some who want to confuse you and distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven were to preach to you anything other than the gospel other than what we have preached to you, let him be cursed! As we have said before, so I say again now: If anyone proclaims to you anything other than the gospel than what you have received, curse him! Do I now speak for men or for God's sake? Or do I seek to please people? If, however, I were still pleasing to men, I would not be a servant of Christ. But I let you know, brethren, that the gospel which I proclaim does not come from men; neither have I received nor learned it from a man, but by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

According to the words of Jesus, the true Christian action can be recognized by its fruits, not by an organization!

Matthew 7:20 That is why you will know them by their fruits.

Matthew 12:33 Either plant a good tree, and the fruit will be good, or plant a bad tree, and the fruit will be bad! Because by the fruit one recognizes the tree.

Can one really honestly say that an organization that has been practicing child abuse cover-up for half a century (similar to the Catholic Church) has always possessed the Holy Spirit of God?

Or the many suicides in our ranks are solely due to a mentally ill person and not to a brother or sister under massive psychological pressure, who often did not know what to do, for whatever reason?

For example, overtaxing in Bethelheimen, overtaxing by the pressure to be primarily in the service, otherwise one would be burdened with "blood guilt", up to victims (child abuse, rape), who were stamped as perpetrators because they did not receive justice, even muzzled under threat of exclusion if they go public.

It is far from my intention to disparage anyone with these words. There should only be a few lines of thought and investigation. How about literally hundreds of subliminals in our literature, from magazines, watchtowers, brochures, books – to the monthly "Christian life and ministry. Witches, demons, bucks, masks and much more. Since Russel, religious or Masonic and Templar symbols have also been used, albeit sporadically. What does a true Christian have to do with demons, masks, faces and symbols or with buying music (Congress 2016 Paradise Video) from a demonic band (Audiomachine, already confirmed!)? It seems that the claim to be the only vigilant people of God is being denied.

For 20 years, when I resigned from my office as eldest (main reason was a letter from the branch office that elders should not be passed on to the authorities in case of child abuse cases in the Gmunden congregation), we have noticed many views and teachings that are not in agreement with the Bible or with the Christian Greek scriptures.

For example, the "other sheep" from John 10:16 which have been collected since 36 O.C. and not only since 1935. According to Zech. 8:20-23 (See the book "Paradise Restored for Mankind by Theocracy" pp. 254-256).

During this time (approx. 36 years) my wife and I have been working unceasingly in service and have not let a month pass without a report including 4 years of pioneer service and also otherwise supporting the organization (monthly donations, a non-reclaimed loan etc.). In the constant hope that everything would turn out for the better, we have waited for this for decades, assuming that Jesus would cleanse his people once again from such false views.

If this is for a Christian cause, we would continue to generously support it, but if it was for an American Masonic sect, then from now on we want to fully support Jesus Christ and take upon ourselves the "shame of Christ". Even if that means to be seen by you as renegade and demonic!

Hebrews 11.26 for he regarded the shame of Christ as greater wealth than the treasures which were in Egypt: for he looked upon the reward.

Coming back to the parable mentioned at the beginning it is absolutely incomprehensible to explain on the one hand (new light since 2013), that the unintelligent slave in the parable does not describe a class or group of people, but on the other hand the faithful and understanding slave is (according to the new light) not a class of people (as so long taught), but still a group of 7 people at present.

If the word "if" in verse 48 refers to a hypothetical case, why should the same word in verse 46 not also refer to a hypothetical case? (WT 1.3.2004 S.13 – 18)

Therefore, if the evil slave is not a defined class or group, why should the faithful slave be a special class or group of 7 people?

If the faithful slave is to be a collective, why is the evil slave not a collective? To recognize this error, no special spiritual revelation is necessary, but rather a healthy and unbiased common sense.

Best regards,

Walter N.
