Neck fracture of the Watchtower Theology
Worship is the highest form of honor. Whoever worships someone honors him in the highest way. Jesus says that he must be honored like the Father. This necessarily includes worship. Jesus says: "... so that all may honor the Son as they honor the Father" (Joh. 5,23). This is where worship is imperative, because otherwise Jesus would have had to exclude worship. And Jesus even says afterwards: "He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him". Thus the neck of the watchtower theology is broken.
But the Jehovah's Witnesses do not hear Jesus' words.
The Watchtower Society proudly offers people an all-round solution to all their problems. Jehovah's Witnesses, in their view, are the only ones who have truly understood God. As the channel of God and the only visible organization of God on earth, they have developed a system for deciphering and interpreting the Bible without contradiction.
Is the Watchtower system perfect?
Actually, it is a highly laudable thing to set about deciphering the Bible with all good intentions. But Russell's enterprise has developed into an apparatus that puts people all over the world under the spiritual yoke of error. The Watchtower system does not live up to the message of the Bible.
Even if they do not believe in God
Jehovah's Witnesses have developed a Jehovah theology with their Bible understanding system that forbids people to worship Jesus. The reason is: Jesus is only a sub-god, and it would be idolatry and polytheism to worship him. This is one of the core statements of Jehovah's Witnesses, which they of course handle very carefully so as not to alienate those interested.
The broken neck
There is a Bible passage that dissects the entire Watchtower theology in one fell swoop. Even if you do not believe in God, you can go to a Jehovah's Witness and ask him to open John 5:23 once. With this action you are doing a good work! Further arguments are not necessary and you do not need any further knowledge to help a Jehovah's Witness sustainably! It is enough if you smile at the person concerned in a friendly manner. Because you can be sure that you have probably done this person the greatest service that could be done in his life.
What does Jesus say in John 5:23?
John 5:23 gives Jesus Christ in literal speech. This emphasizes the directness and scope of the words.
John 5:23 ...that all may honor the Son as they honor the Father. Whoever fails to honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
These few words of Jesus Christ refute the whole theology of the Watchtower, according to which Jesus must not be worshiped. For the WT Special Doctrine is centrally dependent on the prohibition of worship of Jesus Christ. With this statement, which was made by the man who let himself be crucified for all of us, the entire Bible understanding system of the Watchtower Society is refuted in one fell swoop. For the Jehovah's Witnesses, in their efforts, have been squeezing around the central point of Christianity. They missed the mark with their longstanding spiritual practice of the Watchtower-specific faith. They violated Jesus' words ultra-diametrically and left him.
Are further measures necessary?
No further action is needed to pull the carpet from under the feet of Jehovah's Witnesses. You will see that the Witnesses addressed will not be reasonable. The implications are too great! In order to process the fact that the Watchtower Society has lied to them for years or even decades, the person concerned needs a great deal of time. Surely he will also find ways to ignore the word of Jesus. But this cannot be changed. The responsibility for this lies entirely with the Jehovah's Witnesses themselves.
But if the person concerned is a person close to you, you will of course always remember to argue with the clear words of Jesus. You will be able to say that people worship the Father and that the Son must be worshipped (namely worshipped) just like the Father if you want to believe Jesus. But Jehovah's Witnesses are absolutely closed to arguments. Even if they come directly from Jesus.
So realize that liberation cannot be enforced. Pray for the person concerned. Surely attempts at conversation are not forbidden. But be reasonable, because frustration about a person who doesn't want to admit obvious things can be a terrible burden.
Invocation
Apply the words of Jesus wherever you meet Jehovah's Witnesses. Ask Jehovah's Witnesses to read John 5:23 aloud. They are doing the will of God.
