Many believe that the as mass-produced trimmed Watchtower and Awake magazines basically are just harmless writings of an overstrained Christian sect. Many believe that one could with the help of one's own good will or one's intelligence at any time break out again of the often complicated appearing thoughts of the WTS teachings. But the reality looks very different.
The literature of the Watchtower Society does capture the human spirit in a most strange way. This spiritual captivity is still running in the life for a very long time after an exit from the Watchtower heresy. Even former Jehovah's Witnesses, who turn explicitly and consciously to Jesus Christ, suffer so heavily under the thumb of intellectual Watchtower teaching so that they are still a long road as WTS cripples, if they do not let Jesus clean up their lives. You can not take Jesus seriously, for in them spook for a long time the demons of Watchtower doctrine with their so-tempting special teachings.
To give an example, how the puppet strings of the Watchtower Society can work for many years after a Jehovah's Witness' leaving, once the question about the freedom of political activities of the Christians is to be asked.
We have been sent by Jesus into this world, not only to follow our religious and Christian needs, but also to serve people to help them, but also to make all men known the salutary effect of Jesus. We are freed in Jesus to all, what he entails us. A detached artificial self-restriction on a purely religious self-contemplation is not from Jesus. He wants, rather, that people realize that the healing that we experience as Christians impacts in the world. We are the salt of the earth.
When a "world man" (technical term of WTS for unbelievers) becomes a Jehovah's Witness, he gets drummed in from his teacher, the Watch Tower Society, a Christian substitute that is as realisticly as possible emulating the Christian life. But the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses is anti-Christian and can only imitate the Christian. The Jehovah copy of the Christian life has a particularly nasty variety, which is very suitable to the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses and also dropouts fall in love downright fanatically in it. It is the special position of the Jehovah's Witnesses, that results from the absolute political abstention.
This special position is occupied by the normal Christian by being sent by Jesus into the world, but not being part of it. Those who believe in Jesus learn to know at themselves a development that is based on the relationship with Jesus. Many Christians begin at a certain time to watch their life with a mixture of curiosity, skepticism and joy. This is not the way of self-control of work-righteous people, but it is the self-observance that is waiting for the change through Jesus Christ, and it also experiences well. These modifications; about which Christians share with each other in giving report of their experiences, are the basis for the witnessing. Christians gain the recognition that Jesus heals the man and observe at themselves, how it is going on.
Who becomes a Christian, is adopted and sanctified by Jesus with all his faults and sins. Jesus cleans this man by the virtue of his victim's blood and puts him at a place in this world. This mission is an important part of every Christian life, although it is often very quiet and does appear unsensationally. Many people can not wait for Jesus to be in this or that competent and responsible. Many mourn, that they are in the dark about it, where they are placed and what planning Jesus has in store for them. But these Christians is to be told that Jesus uses and applies them just as he wants. Jesus often works through Christians, without they even notice it. Also here trusting is needed, because it is not the work of humans, but it is the work of God.
All Christians, one thing is common: They see about a short or long time, that they have become strangers in the carnal world (accumulating wealth, hunting for recognition). Very deep down in their heart has been created a different way of life that the Lord calls "sources of living water." This way of life that is not from us but from Jesus sets between the Christians and the world an insurmountable wall, so that the Christian can not be no longer part of the world. Thereupon the Christian can really rely that there is no more opportunity to fall for the offers of human pride, for Jesus himself protects us from it. He prevents that we can be part of this world.
This special position of the Christians can not make the God of the Watchtower Society, Jehovah God, in people. But in order to copy the Christian faith as best as possible, he produces an artificial special status for the Jehovah's Witness, by giving them a very practical (carnal) ban of participation in political activities. With this measure this God-substitute, under whose name Satan does in reality, manages the result that the Jehovah's Witnesses as once on this track set puppets have to follow that Jehovah exceptionalism, even if they are escaped the sect long ago. They have become so accustomed to this particular role, that it is a big loss for them if they wanted to give up for Jesus all these pseudo religious habits.
But the taboo of political activity has no other result than a highly effective chain by psychological dependence between the Watchtower construct of a new world and the elite status of those who feel suitable for this new world or once did feel. They feel that they lose something, if they give up the role of this wonderful "purity", and can not understand that Jesus actually sent us into this world. This mission through Jesus concerns but the whole (also political) life, not only the by the Watchtower selected and defined areas. Who as an ex-witness wants to start a new life with Jesus, has to put up with it, as every newly converted Christians to go through the uncertainties of faith. For without the uncertainties of faith he will never get finding the leadership of Jesus. The same is the point for Catholics who miss the Eucharist, after they have become a Christian. They too have been blinded and have to let Jesus clean up in their lives thoroughly.
Jesus is the greatest rebel of mankind. His words were straight against everything that corresponded to the political and religious elite. His speech also included estimations of global political correlations up to the description of the great tribulation. Jesus did not avoid any conflict, including political foundations. For Jesus was the policy as normal as for us the bike. It is policy and so the topic is done.
To give particularly the narcissistic, policy avoidant ex-Jehovah's Witness an example of how calm and relaxed Jesus dealt with politics, here is an event to be remembered, which every anti-politic fanatic should encourage to reflect:
Here, a non-Jew lets speak Jews for himself. They combine their argument with the local political fact that this non-Jew loves the Jewish nation and has even built a religious institution. This argument is stamped so strongly by public policy that actually every Jehovah's witness would have to shout about the fact that Jesus did not take a position on the other hand. What does Jesus do? He simply goes with them. Jesus has nothing and really nothing against political activity and sanctions it in this case, even as an intercession!
Who as an ex-Jehovah's Witness wants to know Jesus, must make sure that Jesus may take the government over his whole life. The world-religious dogma stuffed Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses have to seek deliberately to separate themselves from their previous brain and heart leader. Because they were following a false shepherd.
The false doctrine of the Watchtower Society uses all possibilities to keep people away from Jesus in a perfect way. Not only the direct confrontation with the anti-God doctrine, which they spread about Jesus, is important, but also the treatment of the details that arise from the Watchtower's view of the world. About various against Jesus directed teaching vehicles, the clique of men-seducers scatter thoughts in the hearts that are able to darken the look for the Jesus for a long time or even forever.
This experience certainly all those ex-Witnesses who don't turn to Jesus after their exit! But also the ex-Witness, who is redeemed by Jesus, is under the high risk to let live the teaching of the Jehovah's Witnesses in his life. He can also infect other Christians who do not stand firm in faith. But that prevents God.
The question for the possibility to be active politically as a Christian, is therefore so important, because as good as all Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses think, they would not have to clean up their life after leaving the Watchtower slave. The opposite is true! While other to Jesus converted have to straighten more traditional sins and weaknesses, ex-Jehovah's Witnesses have additionally the task to decontaminate old high-religious heresy.
Not only for this reason, the converted ex-Jehovah's Witness, has to be baptized explicitly Christian. But he must also know about it that Christian baptism is necessary to make ineffective the devilish imitation of the baptism of Wachttum Society.
