The good citizens knows only one functioning mechanism: For one thing, which is good you have to pay a good price, too! The result is that one thing that costs nothing, nothing can be. This is the life of the world, the life and thoughts of the carnal man who is accustomed to secular thoughts. So the Catholic Church takes lots of money for Fairs, which are to rescue the deceased from the self-invented purgatory. So the Watchtower Society is payed dearly by billions of preaching hours, and by just as many donations. This is the businesslike operation of secular religion that people have made from Jesus.
Anyone who takes seriously the words of Jesus, can never assume that life is to buy for money or work. Jesus tells us quite clearly that he is the giver of life and no one and no way can replace Him. That nonetheless religious communities alter from Jesus a lucrative business, is a sign that they never have understood Jesus and never wanted to understand Him. Organizations that convert Jesus Christ into a business idea must be out of tune with God. They are the spawn of the Antichrist.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Nobody can understand that God gives us life for free. The fact that he sacrificed himself for us to clear the way to Him, that's for the carnal man, the pure nonsense. For what is good must be expensive. Thus, the normal person is thinking and cannot deviate from this principle.
But God has combined our salvation by faith in Jesus Christ and made a decision, gets along quite clear without the power of the people. Because the power of man can only be sinful and dirty, because man is a sinner. Only therefore God has provided the deliverance from his own potential, and has prescribed to us only the faith in this Jesus Christ.
The thoughts of God are so alien to us normal people that we cannot understand them on our own initiative. Just like a man shakes his head when he is said, in front of the house is a car, it belongs to you, here, take the keys, so we cannot comprehend God's gift and do not understand. Because we do know our sin through and through, we cannot understand that God will save us through faith. How will this work? Is God a wimp?
God is so little wimp that he himself became man and made for our sins upon himself the worst punishment, there is. He has emptied, left, Himself. (Father, Father, why hast thou forsaken me?) He went through the hell of being forsaken by God, which was actually reserved for us sinners. It is the absolute separation from God. This separateness Jesus has endured in the death on the cross.
Anyone who takes seriously Jesus will understand by his help the significance of his deed. But the true extent of his deed can only will be felt really by us, if we will be with him once. Until then, we have to believe. Knowledges doesn't help us anything, because human knowledge is worthless because unfit to understand God's thoughts.
The Jehovah's Witnesses build on the performance of their good works. They slave away their lives long and thus they cheat themselves. But they have the advantage of the good feeling of having done all possible to them. Thus they share the core of the religiousness of the Muslims, Catholics and all who want to calculate something in front of God and arrive at Him by good works. What is good must be expensive. So they do not realize that God takes no charge from us, because people are not "financially solvent" opposite to God. The only adequate payment is the eternal death.
Because God loves us incredibly, he took the penalty of destruction on Himself. This effects that he can give us in his redemptive deed eternal life. He gives life for free. Here, the good people of ordinary sense and the understanding of the Jehovah's Witnesses reaches into the void. The normal understanding cannot grasp that God is free to give and take what and how he wants. The intellect of the Jehovah's Witnesses is based solely in the conception that one has to pay a high price for a good thing.
That God in Jesus has already paid the bill, they despise. Jehovah's Witnesses are in this way, self-rescuers who want to convert their own works to a ticket to paradise. They will encounter with this ticket to paradise Jesus. They meet this Jesus who has given everything for us. They will encounter this Jesus, whose paying for them they did not consider sufficient. They wanted better pay for their salvation in their own currency of good works and strained Bible study.
Jehovah's Witnesses! Good works are always a product of the Holy Spirit and of faith in Jesus Christ. They are basically just a symptom that shows living faith. But never a prerequisite for rescue or prerequisite for faith. As long as you try to save yourselves by speculating on your Watchtower Society, you are living cadavers. Jesus Himself says to you: I do not know you. For ye have not accepted Him.
