A god, who makes the contact to Jesus being a sin, must be Satan.

Taking Jesus seriously

John 20, 27-29: Then he said to Thomas, Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe. Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God! Then Jesus told him, Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

While Jesus is very sensitive to wrong titles and salutations and responds directly and immediately with a contradict of correction, he allows here Thomas to call him the Lord and God. The conscious omission of a correction is an active Allow this statement about the person of Jesus. Jesus allows this address and confirmes it by that.

It is interesting in this context that he takes just the infidel, the Thomas, to find to a sequence in the course of events that just passes on and demonstrates for the very infidels, what is true nature of Jesus.

But the Watchtower Society destroys that active placement of the value of Jesus before men, by saying that Thomas would have wanted to make Jesus only a kind of compliment. That would indeed have been not meant in this way. And anyway, there are so many gods ... so they adressed in ancient times each other now and again as a God. Especially when they were drunk and met a good buddy.

If Jesus would be only an angelic spirit creature, as the Watchtower of Babylon claims, he, pursuant to his nature and strictly along his in the Bible documented behavior, should have had to disagree immediately and clearly!

He did not!

Jesus' life is aimed at the total sum on a single small nucleus. Believe in me and you are saved. This means that he longs to be taken seriously by you. He is not a reference of mild doing good, he's no idol, not a freak, not a revolutionary, not a cowboy and not a figurehead. And certainly he is not angelic spirit creature.

Jesus is the Almighty God who has visited us and has gone the way, which no one else would go - also not for a maximal nice host. On behalf of the Father, Jesus put all one's eggs in one basket, and handed over all human being the by God himself decided predefinition of the rescue by faith.

Who wants to have something to do with Jesus, who should take him as seriously as non other in his life. Who wants to get along with Jesus, the has to throw his confidence on him and accept him in whole clarity and in artless interpretation. Otherwise he runs the risk of abusing Jesus only. As an ideology, as a moral weapon, as a Catholic and Watchtower-own instrument of power, as a historical event and at the end as angelic spirit-creature, to what the Jehovah's Witnesses degrade him.

Who wants to take Jesus' promise of salvation by faith for benefit, has like Thomas - yes, as the Doubting Thomas - to accept Jesus in his authority and let him rule. But who does deliver Jesus only for interpretative purposes into absurdity, commits a breach, which represents the sin itself. He broke with him and only wants just to see him as what suits himself and his own opinion now.

Nothing more than that last negative variation takes place in the watch tower philosophy. The Watch Tower Society is a collection of people who have never taken a personal commitment to Jesus. They have never met him personally, but only philosophize about him. They use him as a vehicle to support their secular, earthly-oriented view of things and forget about it just to try it out, what the real matter is with Jesus.

Instead, like any good scientist once test the thing itself, they drivel far-fetched assumptions about him and avoid every emotion that could bring them nearer to Jesus. They invent excuses in order to relativise the actions of Jesus, to pass off him as not important and not so meaningful. They make mental detours to not even impact him and to not accept the truth that he is himself.

Because they have their own truth. The Watch Tower-truth. Well marketed and advertised again and again with colorful booklets.

The above-quoted passage is an exceptional situation! Jesus is here aware of the information through the mouth of Doubting Thomas become part of the tradition and emphasizes it with an almost casual response. As if he said "Well" to this statement of Thomas, as if he wanted to install a hint for the most boneheaded and faithless. - He passes on seamlessly to the teaching that faith without knowledge is counting.

This belief without the involvement of the human brain, without taking into consideration our conditioning, without calculation of our different intelligence is the essence of justice, which God sent us in Jesus. He has decided that no one can come to him when he cold-shoulders Jesus. Cold-shoulders the immediate and direct faith in Jesus.

This decision of God is recorded in the First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians and made the world definitively known. (1st Corinthians 1, 17-31) Anyone who passes this, condemns God and even belies him. He sins against God and slaps seeing eye his work out of his hand.

The insult is perfect. And in this sense, the Jehovah's Witnesses in good faith in the teaching of the Watchtower Society beat God himself in the middle of his face.

Why people put their trust in their own understanding? Why don't they accept the invitation, the Father has created and decided for us in Jesus?
