The many Skins of Watchtower Jesus

In the system of the Jehovah's Witnesses Jesus plays a minor role. As in the religion of the Muslims Allah, Jehovah is the highest. Jesus is not the center of faith and the visible made God, but he is only a kind of program point in the bundle of Jehovah's loving actions. In the description of the Watchtower, which is always on the first inner page, the faithful and discreet slave himself bears witness against Jesus:

THE PURPOSE OF THE WATCHTOWER is to exalt Jehovah God as Soverreign Lord of the universe. ... It encourages faith in God's now-reigning King, Jesus Christ, whose shed blood opens the way for mankind to gain eternal life. ...

Jehovah God - the Highest?

As if they live in constant fear that their Jehovah will not be recognized as a God, they always add the word "God,", when they allude him. In the everyday language of the Jehovah's Witnesses this sounds pretty funny too, until you get used to it. It's a small risk to tell a car dealer: "I would like to buy a VW Golf car!" The dealer would pause for a short moment probably and then ignore this wording considerately.

But the fantastic creation of the Watchtower Society seems to need this more detailed definition again and again. This has a significant parallel in Islam: Muslims must always prove something by exclaiming: "Allah is great, Allah is powerful ...!" As in self-suggestive anesthesia, all religions, which have removed Jesus from their center, have to affirm the deity of their surrogates repeatedly.

While the Bible presents Jesus as the highest and many words of Jesus confirm this fact, religions rise up in the world again and again, installing anti-gods to displace Jesus to second place. For example, a Catholic has to pray to the mother of God to have access to Jesus. The displacement of Jesus from the center is the most important of all religions. That is their purpose and their goal and everything is pleasant to them, what does not move Jesus at the center.

The Watchtower words "... encourages faith in God's now-reigning King, Jesus Christ, ..." immediately pose in the heart of a true Christian the question: What faith? It is the false belief that the Watchtower promotes. For every faith in Jesus, who sees him as a lower instance, is dedicated to keep people away from eternal life irrevocably. So the Watchtower writes logically: "... whose shed blood opens the way for mankind to gain eternal life." Nowhere in the Bible is written that a Christ-believer needs anything more than believing in Jesus to have eternal life. But the Watchtower says: We can gain eternal life. Jesus is consequentially in the Watchtower theology just only one of several conditions for obtaining eternal life. But the Bible says: Jesus is the only condition for having eternal life. - What a difference!

The Non-Divinity of the Watchtower Jesus

To drum to people that Jesus would never be the highest, the Watchtower is portraying Jesus always in a different way. The diversity of these representations of Jesus prove in themselves and by their existence, that everything that the Watchtower Society wants, can and has, is invested to classify Jesus under "also-ran".

So many Jesuses. Good that there is only one slave.

In contrast to Jesus, the slave is never displayed, because he is a people-group instance. This is inherently faceless. Thus the slave of Brooklyn in terms of representation fulfills more than Jesus the divine principle of non-representability. While Jesus is reduced to the role of a releasing resource, the Watchtower-slave plays the God-like, because not displayable leader.

The well-known standard form of the struggle of Satan is putting down Jesus and the Christians. An in boldness increased strategy is the exploitation of Jesus for Watchtower goals. The open and yet to many people merchantable abuse of the person of Jesus is found in both, the Watchtower Society and in the sacramental dogmas of the Catholic Church.

Jesus as Lower God with many Faces

The Watchtower Society pushes the game with the gods on the top. It claims that Jesus was a God, but not the highest, but which ensures even that the prayers ascend to their chief god. That is said in the first commandment explicitly that we may not have any Gods beside the Father, does not matter to them. They execute in this way actually polytheism, but accuse the Christians exactly of that criticism. But the Christians are those who say that Jesus and the Father are one.

To make the Jehovah's witnesses credible, Jesus was just a kind of Lower God, the second in the system, they give Jesus a lot of faces. They talk about him like about a particularly good Jehovah's Witness. The overall scenario which is built by the Watchtower Society, brings men two gods. A chief god and a lower god. This is strictly prohibited by the first commandment. But that is irrelevant for the intelligent and faithful slave.
