The Lie about the Star of Bethlehem

The Watchtower 15th December, 2002, page 32:
"The Three Wise Men" - Who Were They? ... The information conveyed to these men did not lead to any good. It aroused wicked King Herod's jealous anger. This, in turn, resulted in the flight of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus to Egypt and the murder of all male children in Bethlehem "from two years of age and under." Herod had carefully ascertained the time of Jesus' birth from what he learned from the astrologers. (Matthew 2:16) In view of all the troubles caused by their visit, it is reasonable to conclude that the star that they saw and the message about "the one born king of the Jews" came from God's enemy, Satan the Devil, who wanted to do away with Jesus. - Matthew 2:1, 2.
Now I want to quote Matthew 2:2 from the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (Jehovah's Witnesses Bible Translation):
... saying: "Where is the one born king of the Jews? For we saw his star [when we were] in the east, and we have come to do him obeisance."
They said "his star", so it was God's star and not Satan's star.
And would God allow, that Satan should make use of the stars?
In the book "Isaiah's Prophecy - Light for All Mankind I", chapter 30, page 410, paragraph 24 "Comfort My People" the Watchtower Society writes the following:
24 The Holy One of Israel is speaking for himself. To show that he is without equal, Jehovah directs attention to the stars of the heavens. Like a military commander able to marshal his troops, Jehovah is in command of the stars.
How does then the Watchtower Society come to the thought that the Star of Bethlehem was driven by the devil, when Jehovah commanded the stars?
