The Watchtower generates a God with all good intentions. That sounds almost as if on New Year's Eve someone beated his chest and said: No, I need to do something at last. So the Watchtower in the Jehovah's Witnesses is creating the feeling that they only have to wait for this New Year's Eve finally converted someday will implement his good intentions.
But God has passed through His project a long time ago and has submitted it people for decision in the person of Jesus Christ. From the outset it was clear that God had to and wanted to meet the people in Jesus, not to break their free will. Because of a man with a broken will God has nothing but frustration. For he is the god of love who desires that we meet him in love.
The opportunity is created in Jesus, and it invites us. Anyone who throws his life onto Jesus, will lifelong remain in the leadership of Jesus and will love him. The Christian loves Jesus because he did not educate us on the outside, but builds us up. From the inside out.
For a long time I have been among the Jehovah's Witnesses as one who considered the Jehovah's Witnesses as a kind of as-good-as-Christians. The Bible knowledge, the use of the name of Jesus in their mouth, the of the world exalted ... all that tempted me to classify the Jehovah's Witnesses to be my siblings, who just have not found the wire to Jesus in the right way.
But in these days I have become clear that the Jehovah's Witnesses are professionally put on an anti-Christian track. And they race always in the round so that the model railroad is vibrating and bouncing and Mama is calling from the living room: Should that be always so loud? They are raised as music boxes, which stop dancing without their lady from America and without the mental whips out of the Watchtower Press, stop dancing inevitably at some point and stop hitting the pot lids too.
By contrast, the life with Jesus is so different. I kept myself away from Jesus for over a decade and he left me alone. There was no pressure, no panic, no psychological terror. He let me go! He is the shepherd, who does not guard his sheeps with barbed wire and machine gun, but who goes searching when one of his sheep has disappeared under the influence of the great freedom behind a dune. He carries me when he has found me again on his shoulder back to the herd and he is happy that I'm still alive. He doesn't spare any effort to get back home the sheep that went astray, with love and confidence in the spiritual home of those who are his.
This love the Jehovah's Witnesses have to resign. They are taught to never be allowed to pray to Jesus. They are bound by military drill to the legion of preaching servants and with every misstep they lose the support in the partnership of convenience of the church replica Watchtower Society. They are trained to look strictly off target from Jesus and have consequently not even the hope that they will meet him one day after their death. In the Watchtower doctrine they have set out forever to remain in that ignorant state in which they are now. They hope to physically unharmed existence on earth under the rule of the Watchtower Society.
The difference between a Jehovah's Witness and a Christian could not be larger. The Christian already has experienced in this life, how Jesus is working on him and is preparing him for eternity. The Christian lives under the constant assurance that he can not lose Jesus. The Jehovah's Witness is living under the constant fear of losing the favor of the faithful and discreet slave. The Christian lives in the enjoyment that knowledge and viewing approximate to him by the hand of Jesus, as self getting close. The Jehovah's Witness is four or five times a week under the stress, having to be ironed back on line.
Watchtower chains, Jesus saves
The high-piled knowledge of Bible of the Jehovah's Witnesses does not save them. There was still no flying, because he was famishing himself so weightless, that by the next gust of wind he could be brought higher than others. Only if one has starved himself to the stage of dust, he can fly away. But then, not by his own efforts and not to live.
