Watchtower Lies Cleaning up No. 185
Jesus says in his Sermon on the Mount: "Blessed are those who are spiritually poor; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." That is, in German: We recognize those who are not the kingdom of heaven by the fact that they wear thick rings on their fingers, which must be kissed by men, by a conglomeration of religious rules which they must observe, by a religious outfit which belongs to it, by belonging to a single-minded organization and much more religious fuss. Also religious works belong to it like indulgence trade, a world-wide organized anti communion (Jehovah's Witnesses solemnly reject Jesus except for special anointed ones), buying candles, Eucharist, Marian and other idol worship and much more besides. We can also formulate the beatitude of Jesus: "Blessed are they who are religiously poor; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
The normal human mind sees in the thesis "Religion does not save. Only Jesus saves!" immediately the truth content therein. And yet people come to me who say that one has to experience this for oneself. I answer: Jesus explained this very clearly and unambiguously. As soon as I take Jesus seriously, I recognize this truth without problems. In response to the repetition of the announcement that everyone must first experience this for themselves, I say: Some facts are so simple that no cognitive process is necessary.
Gerhard, a very likeable Marian devotee, with whom I have often spoken about the aberration of Marian idolatry, was afraid of the sign "Religion does not save" directly. This is a statement for him that must immediately separate him from his Mary. Because as soon as he sees his salvation dependent on Jesus, he can no longer exercise the Marian cult. The religious situation of the Jehovah's Witnesses and of all people who add anything to Jesus' salvation is exactly the same. They just don't like that they should be spiritually poor. For people who do not really rely on Jesus, religion with its special demands is a dear child who plays too big a role in their lives to simply give it up.
At this point it is decided whether we take Jesus Seriously or follow people. Anyone who lets religion affect his life in such a way that he can basically do without Jesus, because Jesus plays this or that role in this religion, has already bet on the wrong horse. What people expect of us from our religion is always religiously bound and thus man-made. What Jesus expects from us is a completely different thing, which we can only discover if we make direct contact with Jesus. This is the manifestation of the God who has become man, that through Jesus himself we are redeemed from the religious expectations of people. Whoever confesses Jesus as his Lord before men is out of the religious tailor. Those who confess Jesus as their Lord experience the power of the Holy Spirit and ...
Isaiah 40:31 ... they that await the LORD shall have new strength, that they may ascend with wings like eagles, that they may run, and not be weary, that they may walk, and not be weary.
The propaganda of the Jehovah's Witnesses, on the other hand, presents itself as an achievement that only advances a newspaper publisher. The commitment to Catholicism is only the strengthening of a human organization. The embedding in Adventism is only the mechanical fulfillment of man-made regulations. All this happens under a Christian cloak so that people do not perceive how vital direct contact with Jesus is.
A Catholic Cardinal ignores the only chance of Salvation through Jesus and prefers to speak of saints who supposedly help us. He talks of good and evil and manages not to talk for a second about Salvation through Jesus. This church does not stand up for Jesus.
Some facts about the Catholic Church, which hardly anyone knows. Every Catholic must ask himself which side he is really on.
The appearance of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Bruchsal once again shone with extreme serenity and tranquillity. That the Jehovah's Witnesses did not let themselves be handed a lemonade and a palm tree under which to serve their time was everything. The fat spread broadly in the chair dominated the image of the Watchtower Sermon Service. They either sat there with their legs apart or with their legs crossed. The large ties could not change the state of half-sleep. A toast to the complacent Jehovah's Witnesses. They signal to the people the absolute spiritual boredom. And once someone goes to an assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses, he cannot say that he has not been warned of boredom.
Jehovah's Witnesses position themselves directly next to the broken, battered watchtower in the Bruchsal pedestrian zone and adapt their posture to the symbol of their downfall. The overall picture that Jehovah's Witnesses offer the viewer next to the bent watchtower made of tin reminds one of official sleep, anesthesia and trance, but not of sermon service.
